Wolfeboro Lions Club Donates Video Magnifiers for Visually Impaired
The New Hampshire Association for the Blind received a generous donation of $1,500 from the Wolfeboro Lion’s Club to purchase two closed circuit TVs. Closed circuit TVs are widely used by people with severe vision loss. A CCTV projects a magnified image onto a video monitor allowing even people with the most significant vision loss the ability to read bills, newspapers and other printed materials and photos.

The donated CCTV’s will be used exclusively for clients living in the Wolfeboro area. For more information about CCTVs, the CCTV leasing program and the services available for people with low vision, contact the New Hampshire Association for the Blind at 224-4039.
