George Theriault
George F. Theriault, President & CEO was appointed in 1996 following 15 years as Vice President for Development. During his career he has led two successful capital campaigns raising $3.5 M dollars; creating the McGreal Sight Center headquarters in the State Capital; and initiated statewide public education and fund-raising programs. George has been an active participant in several national forums involved in advocacy, legislation, and promotion of vision rehabilitation services. Locally he has served on many statewide and local Boards and professional groups. A member of the national Association of Fund-Raising Professionals, he has earned the Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) title. Mr. Theriault is dedicated to expanding the Association's mission of service as the coming decades will bring significant increases in severe vision impairment and blindness – especially in the senior population. |

Guy M. Woodland M.A.
Guy Woodland is the Senior Vice President at the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. Prior to joining the staff at NHAB in March 1999 he had served on the CNIB Senior Management Group for (16) years. He is past Chair of the NH Statewide independent Living Council, a member of the Governor’s Commission on Disability and a member of the Concord Lions Club. As Senior Vice President he oversees the education and rehabilitation programs offered through the Association. Guy has been blind all of his adult life. |

Nancy Druke, MSW, LICSW
Nancy has been the Director of Social Work at the NH Association for the Blind since October of 1999. Her prior experience includes 10 years working in the field of rehabilitation in acute hospital facilities. Nancy is responsible for overseeing the direct service programs provided through the NHAB. She is active in the professional membership organization AERBVI and has been on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Chapter since 2000, including serving a term as President. She is also a member of the NH Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. |

Denise Caruso
Since 2001, Denise has been a low vision therapist/rehabilitation therapist for The New Hampshire Association for the Blind. Prior to Denise’s employment with NHAB, she worked as an optometric assistant, optician and ophthalmic technician.
Denise has trained at The Lighthouse International in Manhattan and is certified through The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology. |

Courtney D’Alessio, M.Ed. - Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Courtney received her Master’s Degree from Boston College. She has 5 years’ experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and 1 year as a paraprofessional with a legally blind fifth grader. She enjoys working with all age groups. Courtney has recently joined the NH Association for the Blind and is pleased to be working with students ages 3 to 18 in New Hampshire schools. |

Glenn Gunn, M. Ed.
Glenn is a certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist. Glenn interacts with and instructs blind and visually impaired individuals to use their remaining senses in order to move about and travel independently.
Glenn received his B.A. in history from Plymouth State College and M. Ed. from Boston College. He has been with the NH Association for the Blind for 32 years. |

Stephanie Hurd
Stephanie Hurd, Coordinator of Volunteer Services has been with the New Hampshire Association for the Blind since April of 2007. She is certified by the United Way of the Greater Seacoast in volunteer services. Stephanie is responsible for the recruitment, training, matching, and management of volunteers with clients in Rockingham, Strafford, and parts of Belknap counties. She has also built up volunteers in the areas of special events, program support, clerical, and public education. Other areas of Stephanie's involvement include her participation in the advocacy committee and Seacoast advisory committee. She is also the current public relations chair for the professional organization, New Hampshire Association of Volunteer Administrators (NHAVA), a member of the Portsmouth Lions, and a member of the Region 10 Alliance for Community Transportation (ACT). |

Claudia Libis, M.Ed., COMS
Claudia completed undergraduate work at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, earning a B.A. in Psychology with certification in Elementary Education in 1978. She proceeded directly to a dually certifying graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh, with an M.Ed. in Education of the Visually Impaired/Orientation and Mobility resulting. She has built a career in PA, then New Hampshire for the past 32 years. The last seven have been at NH Association for the Blind. Claudia has always been active in AER, and is proud of her role as northern Northeast representative to AER’s Environmental Access Committee.

Emilie Meadows, M.S.W., LICSW
Emilie received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New Hampshire and has been with NHAB since 2004. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she provides individual and family counseling for clients coping with vision loss and manages our Peer Support Group programs. Emilie makes an initial visit with potential clients in their homes to identify needs, develop an individual service plan, and coordinate services within the agency as well as with providers in the larger community. She is a current member of the New Hampshire Chapter of NASW and the Northeast Chapter of AER. |

Jennifer Morgan, B.A.
Jennifer has been with the New Hampshire Association for the Blind since March 2000. She works with adults and seniors in setting up vision rehabilitation services. She assists with NHAB peer support groups. Jennifer also enjoys working closely with the VA Medical Hospitals in NH and VT serving blind and visually impaired veterans. Jennifer is also responsible for working with NH school districts planning and putting together services for visually impaired and blind students.

Jewett O'Connor
Jewett O’Connor has been an O&M Specialist and Rehabilitation Teacher at NHAB since 1994. He earned a Masters in O&M from Boston College in 1980 and gained certification as a rehab teacher through coursework at the University of Massachusetts, which he completed in 1995. Jewett provides low vision services as well as RT and O&M instruction, working primarily with older adults. |

Lynne Saltonstall
Lynne Saltonstall, Coordinator of Volunteer Services is responsible for the management of volunteers in Merrimack, Hillsborough, Cheshire, Sullivan and Grafton Counties. Her duties include recruiting, training, coordinating and supervising indirect and direct service volunteers. Lynne has worked in the field of Volunteer Management for 15 years. Her prior experience includes working in healthcare organizations in RI, CT and NH as well as 6 years with the NH Association for the Blind as Volunteer Administrator. She is an active member of the New Hampshire Association of Volunteer Administrators, a professional organization where she served on the Board of Directors for 5 years.
Lynne earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.

Susan Sherry
Susan is an ACVREP certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bucknell University and a Master’s in Education/ Orientation & Mobility from the University of Massachusetts/Boston. Since 2005, Susan has worked for the NH Association for the Blind teaching O&M skills to school aged students. She is currently a board member-at-large for the Northeast AERBVI (Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of Blind and Visually Impaired Individuals.) |

Kathleen Turner – Vision Rehabilitation Therapist.
Kathy’s educational background includes a B.S. in behavioral sciences from UNH and a M.Ed. from UMass with further studies in VRT and a certification in O&M. At the association Kathy works primarily with the adult population throughout the sate in the area of Vision Rehabilitation Therapy after having worked a number of years as a Certified Orientation & Mobility instructor in the education department. Kathy is very active in special events and fundraising and is currently serving her 2nd term on the NE/AER board of directors, sits on the Legislative Committee and has attended many regional and national conferences. |

Nancy Wittmershaus
A native of Cape Cod, Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. She holds teaching certifications in Elementary Education, General Special Education, and Blindness/Vision Disabilities, and is an ACVREP certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist. Nancy joined the Education team at NHAB in 2007 and works with school-aged children in several school districts. |

Shelley Proulx
Shelley joined the New Hampshire Association for the Blind as Vice President for Development in June of 2006. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Director for the Greater White Mountain Chapter of the American Red Cross and helped facilitate the merger with the American Red Cross, Granite Chapter in Concord. Shelley is a “certified fundraising executive” and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing as well as an MBA and Master’s Degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. |
