Going Blind and Going Forward

  • Saturday, February 4th Taylor Community’s Woodside Laconia, NH 1pm – 3pm
  • Saturday, February 25th Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Dover, NH 1pm -3pm
  • May 12th screening at The Palace Theatre, Manchester NH featuring producer/director, Joseph Lovett

Aging populations and lifestyle changes mean that chronic blinding conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration are projected to rise exponentially. Through this event, the Aging Resource Center joins a worldwide outreach effort to educate and inform the public about how to prevent, treat and combat vision loss. Join us for a free screening of this amazing 80 minute documentary, Going Blind: Coming out of the Dark About Vision Loss. Following the film, a panel of eye specialists and representatives from the NH Association for the Blind will answer questions about sight preservation, sight loss, and coping strategies. For more information about Going Blind and Going Forward visit: www.GoingBlindMovie.com.
